Prayer Warrior’s Ministry of Hill Street Baptist Church
From the Prayer Warriors
Prayer is two-way communication that involves both talking to God, and listening to His voice. Through prayer we express our love to God, thank Him for our blessings, admit our sins, and request His intervention in difficult circumstances.
In the simplest form, prayer is talking with God as a friend.
By sharing our hopes, dreams, and concerns, friends develop deeper and more meaningful relationships. In the same way, we develop a close relationship with Him.
How should you pray?
Prayer is a great time to express praise to the Creator.
Let Him know that although you speak to Him as a friend, you also recognize His power, knowledge, and greatness. Great is our Lord and mighty in power, his understanding has no limit. ( Psalm 147:5)
Survey your life, and you’ll discover countless blessings.
Have you been successful?
It’s because God has provided you with the opportunities, skills, and abilities.
Has failure been dogging you?
Thank God, because He has sustained you through the difficult times.
He has been with you in ordinary, everyday situations and in times of crisis. Thank Him for being mindful of your needs, regardless of the circumstances.
God will never leave you or forsake you ( Hebrews 13:5)
God has blessings that are waiting.
However, they are not automatically conferred.
You must ask for through prayer.
Your prayers will unleash the blessing He is holding for you.
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. (Matthew 7:7)
